13th Annual International Energy Psychology Conference

Portals to a Transformed World: Integrating Ancient Wisdom with Modern Practice

Dr. Larry Stoler, Integrative Psychotherapist and past president of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) presented at the 13th Annual International Energy Psychology Conference over the weekend. We’ve compiled his day-to-day reviews of the event and will post it over the course of the week. For more information on the event visit the ACEP Website.

Dr. Larry Stoler with current ACEP president, Carole Stern, RN, MS, DCEP.

THURSDAY
The conference opened with an outstanding presentation from Alberto Villoldo, PhD, author of Shaman, Healer, Sage. In his keynote, he shared his experiences with  indigenous shamans, particularly those connected to the Incan tradition. He told us how all these traditions speak of how this era is a time of significant disruption and change. He emphasized that because of this it is an important time to practice energetic healing so that we will be able to embrace the transformation that is coming.

Many of the practices that we offer at WholeHealth Chicago, including energy psychology, medical qigong, Healing Touch, Homeopathy, acupuncture and herbal treatments can help people do this energetic inner work.
